Ottó Légli
Ottó Légli has been one of the defining figures of the Balatonboglár wine region for many years. In 2010, he was named both Winemaker of the Year and Winemaker of the Winemakers. Their most important plots are in the Banyászó, Landord and Gesztenyés vineyards and on Jánoshegy. White wines dominate on the 33-hectare estate: Olaszrizling, Riesling, Sauvignon Blanc, Chardonnay, Furmint, Királyleányka and Irsai Olivér, although they do have a few reds in the range. Basic level wines are usually made in stainless steel tank, while single vineyard wines are aged for 3-7 months in 500-litre oak barrels.
