Tringa Winery
The Tringa Winery was founded in 2001. It cultivates seven hectares and buys grapes from a few more. They mainly make red wine from Kékfrankos, Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon and Franc, but also have rosé and a white in their range. Owner Antal Gál is popular, and his wines are loved by many. The cellar and winery, as well as four hectares of vines are in the upper part of Kerékhegy, an area with excellent soil. They are, however, perhaps a little at odds with todays trends as they harvest their grapes very late.
