The Tóth Ferenc Winery has been exclusively owned and operated by the family since 1983. A little about the work of Ferenc Tóth: an obsessed winemaker, the ambassador of Kadarka, the dreamer of the Várvédő (Castle Guard), winner of many prestigious awards, the most important of which are Winemaker of Eger 2012 and the Tibor Gál Memorial Award. As well as preserving the old flavours of Eger, the main aspect of their winemaking is the combination of state-of-the-art technologies with traditional methods.
