Basilicus Vineyard Estate

The Basilicus Wine Culture Centre and Vineyard Estate was established in 2009 thanks to the collaboration of three friends. The estate is located in Tarcal, and their wines are made following an artisanal philosophy. They cultivate all six varieties permitted in Tokaj (Furmint, Hárslevelű, Sárgamuskotály, Kövérszőlő, Zéta and Kabar) as well as Purcsin. So, their product range includes many dry wines, sweet late harvest wines, Szamorodni, Fordítás and Aszú. In 2018, they were awarded the title of “Hungary’s most beautiful vineyard estate”.
