Endre Szászi
If you go to Szent György Hill, you cant miss Endre Szászis estate. He has been farming his 16-hectare estate organically for many years now. His range consists mainly of typical Badacsony varieties: Olaszrizling, Kéknyelű, Rózsakő, Pinot Gris, Zeusz and Sárgamuskotály as well as Cabernet Sauvignon and Pinot Noir. The wines, of course, ferment spontaneously with wild yeast. They also make organic grape juice, grape seed meal and grape seed oil. Their characteristic, hand-drawn labels are easy to recognise, and in 2015, the name Endre Szászi was replaced by the wording Szászi Birtok. Perhaps their most popular wine is the Kabócás Olaszrizling.
