János Németh Winery

Like almost everyone in the wine region, János Németh’s family has been making wine for many generations, yet the János Németh Winery is one of the region’s youngest wineries. He now makes wine from about 10 hectares of vines, mainly reds from Kadarka, Kékfrankos, Cabernet Franc and Sauvignon and Syrah. Although the cellar is in Iván-völgy, the grapes come from the Porkoláb-völgy, Görögszó, Gyűszű-völgy, Decsi-hegy and Baranya-völgy vineyards. The wine region named him as Most Successful Young Winemaker in 2008 and 2011. Annual production is about 30,000 bottles.
