Szürkebarát (Pinot Gris, Pinot Grigio)
Pinot Gris, known as Szürkebarát in Hungary, comes from France. It is also known as Pinot Grigio. Legend has it that it was brought to Badacsony by monks and has been one of the wine region's characteristic varieties since then. Its perfumed nose and spicy, often walnutty, flavours make it something special.
