Sauska
Krisztián Sauska has lived in the United States since the 1970s, but has been returning regularly since the 1980s, establishing his winery in Tokaj in 1998 and making wine in Villány since 2006. In Tokaj, they now have 43 hectares in 13 vineyards, while the Villány estate is 61 hectares. Their vines are in Siklós in the Makár, Zuhánya and Csukma vineyards, while in Villány, they have plots in Kopár, Konkoly, Ördögárok and Várerdő. In Tokaj, as well as Furmint, Hárslevelű and Sárgamuskotály, they also cultivate Chardonnay and even make some traditional method sparkling wine and red wine. In Villány, they produce around 540,000 bottles annually from Kékfrankos, Portugieser, Kadarka, Cabernet Sauvignon and Franc and Merlot.
