Koch Winery
The KOCH Winery, with its 130 hectares of own vineyards, is Hajós-Baja wine regions dominant wine estate. They also purchase a significant quantity of grapes. The estate centre is in Borota near Baja. Csaba Kochs ancestors came to this area in the middle of the 18th century, and viticulture and winemaking has been passed down from father to son. Nowadays, Cserszegi Fűszeres boasts the largest plantings, with Cabernet Sauvignon in 2nd place. The range also includes Muscat Ottonel, Pannónia, Chardonnay, Cabernet Franc, Kékfrankos, Riesling, Pinot Noir and Kadarka. Csaba Koch produces wine from nine hectares in the Villány wine region under the name VinArt.
