Kreinbacher Estate
Entrepreneur József Kreinbacher has been running his winery on Somló Hill since 2002. The estate centre, comprehensibly equipped with 21st century technology, which houses the winemaking facilities and sparkling wine maturation cellars, was completed in 2011. Nowadays, they cultivate 40 hectares but purchase grapes from another 20 hectares. The winemaker is György Várszegi, Christian Forget is responsible for the sparkling wine, while Paul Bara is the cellar master. Their precise wines combine tradition and modernity and are produced from Olaszrizling, Furmint, Hárslevelű, Juhfark and Gewürztraminer, while their four traditional method Furmint-based sparkling wines are very popular.
