Description
The Furmint from our selected, organic vineyards was made mostly by berrying, with spontaneous fermentation after a short soaking, and then maturing in Hungarian and French barrels for 8 months. With the name Mogetiana, which is the Roman name for Somlóvásárhely and its surroundings, we wanted to pay tribute to how long winemaking has been going on in Somló. Its attractive, intense aroma features white flowers and the aromas of quince and pear typical of the variety. A distinctly elegant and detailed wine. Full of lively fruits, with a delicate Somló minerality in the background. Harvest date: October 12, 2023. Bottling date: July 29, 2024. Sugar content: 1 g/l Alcohol content: 13.5% Titratable acidity: 6 g/l
