Description
This is the benchmark of the Balaton region—the area's most widely planted grape variety. Like all our wines, it was traditionally aged in wooden barrels; we used a mix of new and used 225-liter casks. The wine spent seven months in the barrels, followed by another four months resting in a stainless steel tank—where the batches were blended—to allow for natural settling. Despite being a white wine, it was bottled unfiltered; we accepted this risk to ensure the fullest possible expression of its aromas. The result is a serious wine with a rich, full-bodied character that remains remarkably easy to drink.
