Description
70% Tempranillo and 30% Garnacha. The grapes are hand-harvested from vines averaging 70 years of age, grown in clay-limestone soils at altitudes of 450–800 meters above sea level. Fermentation takes place in tanks using indigenous yeasts. The wine is aged for 8 months in American and French oak barrels. Deep burgundy in color. Intense aromas and flavors of black-berried fruits. On the palate, ripe fruit notes are complemented by velvety tannins and fine acidity, leading to a long, spicy finish. A wine for those who appreciate uniqueness and enjoy stepping beyond prevailing trends.
