Description
When the Furmint was planted in 2015, the intention was to show why this variety, once known locally as “Szigeti,” used to be widespread in the Badacsony wine region. On Bács Hill, in earlier times, there was a noble estate called Csóka Major, and the vineyard now stands on its former site. Part of the wine was aged in tank and another part in 500-litre wooden barrels, so that the fruitiness, the varietal character, the minerals, and the barrel aromas could come together in a beautiful harmony.
