Description
Philip (Fülöp) the Stork was born in Spain, in the Ebro River Valley, in 2003. It is not known if he ever left Europe, but it is certain that he has lived in Bodrogkeresztúr and its surroundings since 2006. He raised 34 chicks, his mate always migrated, but he stayed. In winter, he warmed himself on chimneys, drank from the Bodrog water, hunted for woodcock and owned all the stork nests in the area.
We bottled this fresh and crisp dry Tokaji in memory of our eccentric stork, who was the stork of the area and everyone for 15 years.
From the proceeds, we support the maintenance of stork nests in Bodrogkeresztúr and its surroundings, the construction of stork nest stands and the installation of bird-proof electrical insulation.
