Description
The aroma is a pleasant mix of fruitiness and spice. A wine with excellent structure, with vibrant freshness, in which notes of white-fleshed peach and ripe plum appear. Its balanced sweetness is nicely complemented by pleasant acids, coupled with a fresh feeling, with a long finish. The summer was hot, so we started picking the aszú grapes in early September, and continued this in the ideal autumn weather. October in particular provided three textbook weeks, which were perfect for the development of high-quality aszú grapes: with early morning fog, afternoon sunshine and wind. The aszú grapes were soaked in fermenting must for two days. After pressing and then fermentation, we aged the aszú wine in our traditional cellar in 300 and 500 liter Zemplén oak barrels for more than 2 years. This was followed by the final blending in the spring of 2020. Recommended serving temperature 11-13 C°. An excellent accompaniment to sweet and spicy Asian cuisine, foie gras and fruit desserts.
