Description
We only make aszú wines with the Dűlő designation in exceptionally good vintages. The 2017 harvest of Mézes Mály dűlő was perfectly suited for this. The summer was hot, so we started picking aszú grapes in early September, and continued this in the ideal autumn weather. October in particular provided three textbook weeks that were perfect for the development of high-quality aszú grapes: with early morning fog, afternoon sunshine and wind. The excellent quality aszú grapes were soaked in fermenting must for two days. After pressing and then fermentation in barrels, the aszú wine was aged in Zemplén oak barrels for two years in our historic cellar. The wines of the Mézes Mály dűlő, which has loess soil, are characterized by an elegant acid structure and a rich flavor. The aroma is dominated by apricot and honey notes. An elegant wine with peach, pear and prune flavors. The full, intense, fruity flavors and crisp acidity provide a fresh, pleasant finish. Sugar: 185 g/l Acid: 7.25 g/l
