Our estate red from the volcanic Tihany Peninsula. Tihany is the only place in the Balaton Uplands where the blue grape is the king. Not by chance! The special microclimate of the zigzag volcanic craters and the mineral-rich basalt tuff crumbly soil produce well-balanced, fruity, salty red wines. Our Tufa Peninsula selection is a blue frankish-based field blend, in which we focus on the character of Tihany instead of the varieties. Open-vat fermentation, hand-picking, lots of fruit, with a hint of barrel. A volcanic fruit bomb.
