Description
We only make Dűlő-labeled aszú wines in exceptionally good vintages. The 2018 harvest of the Szent Tamás dűlő was perfectly suited for this. The high-quality aszú grapes were soaked in fermenting must for two days. After pressing and then fermentation in barrels, the aszú wine was aged in Zemplén oak barrels for two years in our historic cellar. This wine is characteristically complex and concentrated with citrus notes, with orange peel and orange marmalade dominating the aroma. Its harmony and balance are unique, coupled with a beautiful acidity. A true volcanic aszú.
