WINERY ON Creations is a wine project that combines winemaking, design and art in a highly creative wine family. This is DEMUERTE. Winemaker Pablo Cortés is responsible for winemaking, while his partner Karel Eissner is the project leader for design and art. The wines are born in a unique environment and terroir in Murcia, eastern Spain. The main ingredient for their bold and Mediterranean wines is Monastrell, a native blue grape variety of the DO Yecla region that has been increasingly soaring and rising in recent years. This local grape variety - already present in Phoenician times - has adapted perfectly to this region. Murcia is a place where variety and balance prevail in wines, with high aromatic intensity and high fruit concentration. The small, thick-skinned berries of Monastrell love the warm, dry climate, which is the ideal combination for making wines with deep color and high tannin content. In the wine region, Winery On Creations is a pioneer in the modern communication and promotion of the Monastrell variety. Each Demuerte wine is a unique blend, just like its visual expression. The skull motifs known from South American, Aztec and Mayan cultures, the Calaveras, adorn the labels of the wine family in all their splendor, texture and color. The wines are powerful, magically structured, with intense fruits and mysterious spiciness that gradually reveal themselves, revealing a delicate complexity. They are extremely exciting wines, both qualitatively and visually, that will undoubtedly conquer the eyes and hearts of consumers. DEMUERTE Gold represents the perfect blend formula according to the winery: Monastrell, Syrah and Garnacha. "Elegant, sophisticated, royal. We created this wine to make any occasion outstanding." That is why the label is majestically dressed in gold. Limestone soil, hand-harvested, moderate yield. A blend of Monastrell (50%), from vines over 30 years old, Syrah (30%) and the other native variety Garnacha Tintorera (20%) in an absolutely Mediterranean style. Aged in French Allier oak barrels for a minimum of 12 months. Deep cherry red color with garnet reflexes. Ripe, liqueur-like aroma, with red fruits, sweet spices, pepper, cloves and nutmeg. Very suggestive wine. Round, full-bodied, with ripe tannins, silky texture and long finish. Awards: Mundus Vini Gold
