Description
2020 was a difficult vintage, but beautiful dry wines were produced nonetheless. Turán and Pinot noir were harvested in mid-October, at 23 must degrees. They were hybridized as grapes. They were fermented for 40 days in wooden vats, then colored and settled. They were then matured in dedicated barrels for 3.5 years on fine lees. The other varieties (Syrah, Kékfrankos, Cabernet franc, Merlot) were harvested between the end of October and the beginning of November with 24 degrees of must. They were blended as a raw wine. After 40 days of keeping on the skins and fermentation, it was decolored and settled. After that, it was removed from the coarse sieve and placed in an amphora, where it was aged for 3.5 years on a fine sieve, so 1/3 of this batch was aged in amphora. It was blended before bottling.
