The winery uses a unique technique to make this special wine, which is a blend of merlot, cabernet sauvignon and corvina. They start with the merlot harvest, at which point they cut off the fruit stalks of the sauvignon, but leave the grapes outside to languish on the stem. The merlot is soaked on its skins for seven days and then pressed. The wine made from merlot is added to the crushed sauvignon. During the sauvignon harvest, the corvina stalks are also cut, and after about 15 days they are harvested and the must of the crushed corvina grains is added to the wine. And the result? - One of Italy's leading wine critics, Luca Maroni, chose this batch as the 3rd best Italian red wine in his usual annual yearbook featuring the best Italian wines. The concentration of the wine is at its maximum. It is characterized by a dark, opaque color and a large body in the glass. Its incredible lushness is already expressed in the deep scent: cherry, plum, blackberry, blueberry, violet, but we can discover new scents in it every minute. The sip is creamy, the flavors completely fill the mouth, mainly blueberry, blackberry, cherry and sweet spices, but this is only the beginning. Sipping it, just like smelling it, we can always find something new to taste. The reserves are almost inexhaustible. It's worth your time!
