Mészáros Winery
The Mészáros Winery is one of the largest companies in the Szekszárd wine region. The 120-hectare winery cultivates primarily Irsai Olivér, Chardonnay, Kadarka, Pinot Noir, Kékfrankos, Cabernet Franc and Sauvignon and Merlot in the Baranya-völgy, Hidas-Petre, Bödő, Bodzási, Kerék-hegy, Malom oldal, Iván-völgy, Strázsa-hegy, Tót-völgy, Virág-hegy and Görögszó vineyards. In 2012, they were awarded Winery of the Year, while in 2016, Pál Mészáros was named Wine Producer of the Year. They consider Kadarka very important and have even registered two of their own clones. Péter Mészáros is also involved in the winemaking.
