Description
This variety is the trademark of Villány, its traditional variety, the basis of the cellars' product range. A good vintage Portugieser, a fresh, crisp, soft wine with little tannin, easy to drink even when young. Tiffán's Portugieser was grown in the Jammertal and Sterntal vineyards in Villány, and the Várerdő and Ördögárok vineyards in Nagyharsány. The grapes were harvested at the right ripeness and in good health, and the end result was a soft, flattering, real Portugieser.
