Description
The Mouton Cadet Reserve series tries to present the territorial features of the Bordeaux regions. Saint Emilion is an area on the right coast, the soil here is basically limestone and clay, which favors Merlot the most. This wine is mostly made from merlot, complemented by cabernet franc. Its aroma opens with spicy notes, saffron, cardamom, which are followed by notes of ripe fruit, jam, strawberry, cherry, blackberry. The taste is mainly reminiscent of the fruity flavors already known in the aroma. Spicy notes return in its long aftertaste. Elegant, round wine with velvety tannins.
