Description
The small family business is located in the central, eastern part of Italy, in the Marche province, a few kilometers from the coast. They mainly deal with autochthonous grape varieties and make impressive wines with an excellent price/value ratio. Poesia is made from 100% Montepulciano. An outstanding product of the winery. The grapes are harvested slightly overripe, thereby obtaining a concentrated raw material. The juice extraction is modest, but the complexity is impressive. The winemaker must create his poem, Poesia, from such raw material. Aging takes place in large barrels so that the aromas from the grapes dominate the wine. In the glass, it has a dense, almost oily movement, with a large body, the aroma exudes warmth and a multitude of ripe fruits. The sip is intense, round and elegant. A long, substantial wine, it is worth tasting for a long time, because with the passage of time we can get to know more and more layers of it.
