Description
This wine is a lovely, Mediterranean, white blend of two little-known varieties in our country, grenache blanc (85%) and viognier (15%). Exotic, slightly salty and very good to drink."Flying Solo" means flying solo... the winery recommends this wine to the brave (unarmed) pilots who in 1918 risked their lives with their single-person planes to fly the war air mail between Toulouse and Barcelona, as well as Between Toulouse and North Africa. With total blackout, a giant black pine on the grounds of the winery was used as a reference point when landing.
