Description
It is one of the outstanding varieties of Bordeaux, which adapts well to both the soil and the climate. It stays green in a cool growing area, with an unpleasant tannin sensation. In the Neszmély wine region, on the border of Kesztölc, there is the Kecskeólak vineyard, a warm growing area where the variety ripens perfectly. Almost every year, Ákos Kamocsay makes a great and elegant wine from his small but concentrated and deep character. This wine isn't about weight and bitey tannins, it's more about finesse and amazingly luscious fruitiness.
