Description
The Louis Jadot winery, founded in 1859, is one of the best-known and perhaps the most respected estates in Burgundy. Under the direction of the talented, young head winemaker, Frédéric Barnier, nearly 50 types of wine are produced from 528 hectares. This amazing assortment itself requires a high degree of precision, not to mention that the quality and elegance of each wine skyrockets the estate's reputation. Jadot items can also be found on the wine lists of the best restaurants in London, New York, Paris or even Tokyo, often with Michelin stars. Motto: "no compromise on quality" The wine mainly shows the fruitier face of pinot with cherries and blueberries, its acids are dynamic but rounded, its tannins are soft, the sip is juicy, elegant, sometimes with mineral overtones. After hand-harvesting and 3 weeks of maceration in steel tanks, half of the wine went into second- and third-fill wooden barrels and matured there for 18 months.
