Description
The winery is located in Grottaminarda, near Avellino, in the southern Italian province of Campania. They deal exclusively with autochthonous grape varieties. The most characteristic grape variety of the area is aglianico, which is also often referred to as the barolo of the south, referring to the fact that it can be used to make a rich, complex, well-matured wine with a really dense texture. Saudens red wine from the winery is definitely such a wine. Dense, thick, complex, but at the same time it remains optimistic. A real specialty for the Hungarian palate. This item is a hybrid, in addition to aglianico, piedirosso and sciascinoso were also included.
