Description
pinot with a moderately intense ruby shade in color, which becomes more and more exciting with a spectacularly looming glycerine ring and an almost oily sluggish movement. In its young, developing aroma, you can feel barrel spices, red-fleshed fruits and some minerality. When tasted, a nice type of character is outlined, which is mainly shaped by the aromas of ripe cherry, black cherry and raspberry. Its concentration and richness in taste was given by the fruit of the 20-year-old vineyard located in the excellent Steiger vineyard. The fine tannins from the 14-month barrel aging, as well as dark chocolate and stewed notes indicate a definite presence, but a noticeable integration has already begun in the finish.
