Description
deep, garnet-red wine that leaves serious curves on the glass. Its aroma starts with solid leather, then strong roasting notes are felt, with roasted chestnuts at the forefront. These are followed by fruits, in the form of blueberries, cherries, plums. If we wait for it to really open up, an exciting Mediterranean line also appears in it, enriching its layers of aromas with a slight basil spiciness and a sense of dried tomatoes. As it warms up, the alcohol begins to dominate, lending the wine a liqueur-like character. The taste reveals prunes, figs, intense toasty notes, velvety tannins, lively acids, and a warming alcohol sensation. Its finish is also prune-like, chocolatey, and it ends with a chalky, slightly drying effect.
