Description
The wine is made from sangiovese grapes grown on the Castel Giocondo estate, located near Montalcino. It was aged for four years, of which at least two years were spent in barriques and oak barrels. Its color is a deep ruby red with a garnet tint. Its aroma offers a wide and complex range of aromas of red flesh and dried fruits, prunes, black currants, blueberries, complemented by a little vanilla, coffee, cocoa and tobacco. When tasted, it feels velvety, its lively acids and ripe tannins make the wine balanced. Its long aftertaste is enriched by fruity notes.
