Description
A hot but balanced vintage, vineyard-selected premium furmint from the volcanic soil of the Kővágó vineyard in Mád, from hand-selected bunches. After gentle pressing, inoculated and fermented in new 500-liter oak barrels from Zemplén. It matured for 9 months in Trust barrels from the wine region, on fine lees, before it was finally rounded in the bottle. Furmint with long, vibrant acidity and a rich taste, with the floral, white fruit notes of the variety, and the delicate minerality of the Mádi growing area with varied soils. Its complex acids are in a nice balance with a little natural residual sugar and oaky, mineral notes appearing at the end of the sip.
