Description
An impressive blend of Kékfrankos, Cabernet Sauvignon and Zweigelt. In the Hungarian wine world, it is quite rare for a batch to be marketed at only 6 years of age, Dániel Zsolt's 2011 Prof wine is one of these specialties. Now, when tasted at 9 years old, we get an exciting, complex and mature wine, which, however, still has serious aging potential. In the cellars of patient wine collectors, in 3-5 years, the Prof can reach a level even higher than the current one, and after that we have at least another 5 years to enjoy this blend at its peak. Deep fruitiness of blueberry, black cherry and blackberry on the nose, accompanied by coffee, avar and chocolate. Nice acid backbone, silky tannin structure embraces the medium body, so it shows a beautiful balance at the first tasting. The taste is characterized by round, ripe fruitiness, minty and aniseed spiciness. A long, exciting finish with virtuoso complexity.
