Description
Much was expected of this excellent and balanced vintage, but in 2013 we were finally able to make one of the finest, noble sweet wines in the world again. Mineral, complex, silky aszú waiting to be discovered, made from selected aszú grains in Bodrogkeresztúr, Tokaj and Mád. It tastes like candied orange, pistachio; its aroma is dominated by notes of sage, cloves, basil and dried figs. Its acids make it fresh and drinkable, and guarantee a huge aging potential. It can be a worthy accompaniment to weekend family lunches in the company of foie gras, aged cheeses and desserts made with dried fruit or even meat dishes, cooled to 12-14 C.
