Description
It is worth knowing about Special Club that it is made by members of an elite club of producers (i.e. those who make champagne from their own production area and under their own name), the Club Trésors du Champagne. They set a pretty high bar for themselves and created the Special Club bottle and design to distinguish their best wines from their own-name blends. Of course, getting into the Club is not easy either – they currently have 28 members – but such a Special Club champagne must also receive the green light from two professional tastings in order to be released in this form. First, after blending, before bottling, and secondly, after aging, it must perform well in front of a committee consisting of winemakers. Well, this champagne passed the strict filter of the judges.
