Description
Our dream was to have a big brother to Kandúr, which was already premium, but still bistro style. For years we imagined the path of this wine as a blend, but then with the 2021 vintage this changed. We intend it to be an exciting, spicy, fruity wine that pairs well with food, so this year, unusually, 100% Syrah from the Diósviszló mountaintop was bottled. We really love Syrah - its spiciness and complexity. Hand harvest, bunch and then berry selection, tank and vat fermentation, and finally 13 months of aging in 500 liter French oak barrels.
