Description
Grillo is the winery's and also Sicily's flagship. Despite this, it only produces vibrant, harmonious wine in cooler regions or in cold vintages. That's why the Caruzós thought that Grillo should be planted on the top of the mountain. And so it was, and the expected acids and aromas are evident year after year. The plantation received organic certification last year, after a 5-year transition period, so the time has come for this batch to join the "Naturalmente Bio" prestige and the winery's pride in the organic line, alongside Nero d'Avola and Catarratto. Lush, fresh, full of wildflowers, a hint of barrel and the aforementioned vigor.
