Description
Castello di Nipozzano is one of the oldest estates of the Frescobaldi family, located in the Chianti Rufina region. The wine is mostly made from the Sangiovese variety, aged for 24 months in second- and third-fill barrique barrels. Its color is shiny, ruby red. Its aroma shows distinct, fruity notes, blackberry, blueberry, raspberry, cherry, which are nicely complemented by spicy aromas, sage, rosemary, vanilla and cinnamon. Its spiciness can also be discovered in the taste, supplemented with a little pepper and cocoa.
