Description
The specialty of this Alsatian crémant, made with Champagne technology, is the variety itself. It is made from Rhine Riesling (100%), which is very unusual in the industry and rare on the market. Its color is white, medium deep, shiny, ash, pale yellow. Its smell is simple, strawberry, fruity, with only a little yeast, the yellow-flowered, southern fruity character of Riesling is emphasized and, of course, the elegant and unmistakable smell of fuel or petroleum, which is also characteristic of this variety. Complex and rich, a truly special fragrance experience. The bubbles have small pearls, they fall evenly on the surface, and their foam retention is medium. Thanks to the variety, its acids are rich, broad, chiseled, lively, and fresher than the products of other large champagne houses. A faint bitter tone can be observed in the aftertaste, which is only to its advantage. Its character is full, fresh, light, its structure is uniform, more fruity than ripe, its aftertaste is long, appley, but it lacks yeasty flavors, so we recommend it to consumers who are looking for fruitiness in French champagne rather than mature, secondary flavors. Elegant quality that belies the champagne houses from a variety that is interesting from a champagne production point of view.
