Demetervin launched the late vintage category in the mid-2000s to present the fresh, fruity, elegant, lovable face of Tokaj with natural, capital-pressed sweet wines that carry all the values that make us love our wine region. The 2008 vintage became known to domestic consumers under the name Élvezt, which was the test and concept wine of Demeter Endre, considered groundbreaking in many ways when Junibor was founded, to attract modern consumers to the world heritage wine region. Due to its success, the category remained in the final portfolio of the winery, it is available under the name Joy from those vintages when Nature allows us to work with an extremely late harvest in our organically cultivated furmint, cinquefoil and muscatel plantations without exception.
