Description
Ripe Chardonnay hand-harvested in the Serédi vineyard on the border of Tolcsva, with partially volcanic and partially calcareous soil, which was gently pressed after picking the berries and a short soaking, then fermented in a cooled steel tank and barrel. Half of the wine was matured in a tank, the other half on a broom, in a used 500-liter barrel. Silvery, pale green color, rich floral aromas, followed by fresh apples and ripe peaches in the long finish. The fine oakiness of the barrel aging only appears in the finish, in addition to the acidity, the exciting minerality characteristic of the vineyard plays a major role in the sip. Fruity, long, lovely.
