True to its name - as Ságos Sárfehér - it opens with a surprisingly intense, sweet and lush, yellow floral aroma for a Somlai, followed by apricots and ripe peaches, as well as clinking stones. In the mouth, Somló itself is salty and citrusy at the same time, with a hint of residual candy, and a little bitterness at the end. The salt is what remains in the end, with some peach. A long rich wine, yet playful and light. For those who do not know the breed, it is definitely a must-read!
