Description
The aroma is first characterized by intense barrel spices: dark chocolate, vanilla and cappuccino, followed by a subdued ripe sour cherry character. The taste is excitingly complex, dominated mainly by the ripe, red berry world, such as ripe cherries and blackberries. The tannins are marked, but lovably ripe. The long, slightly tart finish ends with cedar notes.
