Description
It is made from aszú grapes that have turned aszú on the vine due to the noble mold Botrytis Cinerea, which attacks the grapes, and are picked separately, one by one, at harvest. This miracle is made from the almost creamy must extracted during the storage of the aszú grapes – thanks to the pressure of their own weight. It is rich in minerals, sugar and the special aromas and flavors characteristic of aszú grapes: it shows all the beauty of the wine region in incredible complexity. The year 2013 was an excellent vintage: we were able to harvest high-quality aszú grapes completely permeated by botrytis. We presented our very first amphora-aged essence after 10 years. Aranyló amber color, dense and creamy, oily texture. It is characterized by intense, pure fruitiness, with incredibly rich botrytis notes. Its acids are lively, its aftertaste is long and fruity. Its complexity encompasses the entire Tokaj wine region.
