Description
Its aroma is rich and intense; with orange and spicy notes. A very fine and elegant wine, whose richness is balanced by perfect acidity. The taste was full, the pleasant spicy notes and the peach return. The summer was hot, so we started picking the aszu berries at the beginning of September, and we continued this in the ideal autumn weather. October in particular provided three textbook-like weeks, which were perfect for the development of high-quality Aszu grapes: with early morning fog, afternoon sun and wind. The outstanding quality Aszu grapes were soaked in fermenting must for two days. After pressing and then fermentation, we matured the aszú wine in 300 and 500 liter Zemplén oak barrels for more than 2 years in our traditional cellar. This was followed by the final pairing in the spring of 2020. It is also an excellent accompaniment to fruit-based desserts and hard cheeses, but it is also recommended on its own, instead of dessert. Recommended consumption temperature is 11-13 °C.
