Description
Aszú wines with the vineyard name are only made in the event of an exceptionally good vintage. The 2017 harvest of the Nyulászó vineyard was perfectly suitable for this. The summer was hot, so we started picking the aszu beans at the beginning of September and continued this in the ideal autumn weather. October in particular provided three textbook weeks, perfect for the development of high-quality ash: early morning fog, afternoon sun and wind. We soaked the top-quality Aszu grains in fermenting must for two days. After pressing and then barrel fermentation, the Aszú wine was aged for two years in Zemplén oak barrels in our historic cellar. Thanks to the mineral composition of the Nyulászó vineyard, its wine is characterized by an elegant acid structure, rich flavor, harmony and endless length. Its scent is perfumed, dominated by ripe peaches. Apricots and orange peel return with spicy notes. Sugar: 203.3 g/l Acid: 7.73 g/l
