Description
The winery uses a unique technique to make this special wine, which is a blend of merlot, cabernet sauvignon and corvina. They start with the merlot harvest, at which time the sauvignon vines are cut, but the grapes are left outside to wither on the vine. The merlot is soaked on the skins for seven days, then pressed. The withered sauvignon is added to the wine made from merlot. When the sauvignon is harvested, the corvina vines are also cut, then picked after about 15 days and the must of the withered corvina grapes is added to the wine. This batch includes the most beautiful ingredients of the vintage. And the result? - One of Italy's leading wine critics, Luca Maroni, chose this batch as the 2nd best Italian red wine with 97 points in his usual annual yearbook featuring the best Italian wines. The concentration of the wine is at its maximum. It is characterized by a dark, opaque color and a large body in the glass. Its incredible voluptuousness is already expressed in the deep aroma: cherry, plum, blackberry, blueberry, violet, but every minute we can discover new aromas in it. The sip is creamy, the flavors completely fill the mouth, we can mainly discover blueberry, blackberry, cherry and sweet spices, but this is just the beginning. When sipping, just like in the aroma, we can always find something new to taste. The reserves are almost inexhaustible. It is worth taking the time!
